Classic and beautiful escutcheon, in this case for pass-through screws. Cradling it in your palm, you’ll discern and appreciate the unmistakable quality. The escutcheon is cast, burnished, and polished by hand.
Description
This escutcheon is used for doors with a mortice sash lock (i.e., there are holes in the mortice). Here you connect the two escutcheons on the door using two long screws.
If, on the other hand, the door has an “old-fashioned mortice lock”, you use small wood screws of about 10mm that won’t hit the mortice. In that case, You need the SJC Classic II Escutcheon.
