Description
This escutcheon is used for doors with a mortice sash lock (there are holes in the mortice). Here you connect the two escutcheons on the door using two long pass-through screws.
If, on the other hand, the door has an old-fashioned mortice lock, you use small wood screws of about 10mm that won’t hit the mortice. In that case you need this escutcheon: SJC Classic II.
